Developing a win-win culture
One of the most fulfilling things that happened to me this year is joining an online team of servant leaders. During this amazing journey, I learned some lessons about servant leadership, leading Christ's way.
Jesus Christ taught us by words and actions that for us to be effective leaders, we must be the servants of them all.
During week 18 of my 21 week course, I learnt about the win-win culture. I learned that conflict is inevitable in every team or family. How the leader handles it is what makes the difference. It is important for every leader to master how to manage conflict rather than ignore, avoid or run away from it. Instead, the leader should : put his people first, see beyond the attitude of people and work towards redeeming by promoting forgiveness and peace. Engage team members to get committed by participating in goals development. Promote unity even in diversity.
Leadership is influence, when a leader is committed to developing this win-win culture, his team/family will do same.
